These earrings combine the feminine and macabre. Inspired by the movement of a snake, the cast silver snake vertebrae and skull bones are articulated to add a kinetic element to the piece. Set within the top skull bone are two 4mm rose cut garnets. 2mm and 1mm black spinels are set in the vertebrae for a subtle sparkle.
The original bones were sourced from an already dead snake local to NC.
